Alaskan Malamute — Gait
How does the AKC standard describe the Alaskan Malamute's gait?
Front legs must reach well out in front with pasterns strong and springy
The gait of the Malamute is steady, balanced, and powerful
The head is carried alertly, neither so high nor so low as to impede motion or stride
The trot - our little shepherd's favorite gait - must be solid and vigorous
