What does the AKC standard say about the Dalmatian's color?
Coat - Self-colored, in all shades of fawn, from a dark red fawn to a light fawn
Color and markings and their overall appearance are very important points to be evaluated
Black, gray, silver, red, black and tan, or belge are all acceptable
All are permissible and to be considered equally.
