German Pinscher — Coat
Which of the following best describes the German Pinscher's coat according to the AKC standard?
The coat is hard, smooth, and short, with sufficient density to be of use in all weather. The skin is loose and elastic.
Coat is brilliant, short and smooth. Skin is soft and loose, especially at the head and shoulders, forming wrinkles.
Short and dense, smooth and close lying. Shiny and covers the body without bald spots.
Dense hair, rough, harsh, and about 1 inch in length on the shoulders and body. May be shorter on the rear and tail.
