Great Dane — Coat
Which of the following best describes the Great Dane's coat according to the AKC standard?
Double coated, heavy, straight, hard, dense, not woolly or silky, of good length.
The coat shall be short, thick and clean with a smooth glossy appearance. Color, Markings and Patterns: Brindle.
Coat is brilliant, short and smooth. Skin is soft and loose, especially at the head and shoulders, forming wrinkles.
A close, hard, hound coat of medium length. Defects-A short thin coat, or of a soft quality.
