Kerry Blue Terrier — Coat
Which of the following best describes the Kerry Blue Terrier's coat according to the AKC standard?
The coat shall be short, thick and clean with a smooth glossy appearance. Color, Markings and Patterns: Brindle.
Correct coat is important it is to be soft, dense and wavy. A harsh, wire or bristle coat should be severely penalized.
It is doubled coated. The entire body is covered with a long, dense, shaggy, thick coat that is reasonably straight.
The coat is fine, smooth, soft, short and glossy, neither hard nor woolly.
