Gray, medium preferred, variations in shade determined by the length of black tips and quantity of guard hairs
A dramatically marked dog, the adult Keeshond is a mixture of gray, black and cream
Preferred color is a dark blue, thickly mottled body, spotted by various shaped black spots on back, ears and sides
All colors and color combinations are acceptable with no preference given to any.
