All puppies are born black, or black and tan
Blue, sandy, liver, blue and tan, sandy and tan, liver and tan
All coat colors and markings are allowable and of equal merit
Ranging from tan/rich, tan/chestnut with white markings allowed as follows: White tip on tail strongly desired
