Shih Tzu — Coat
Which of the following best describes the Shih Tzu's coat according to the AKC standard?
It is doubled coated. The entire body is covered with a long, dense, shaggy, thick coat that is reasonably straight.
Coat - Luxurious, double-coated, dense, long, and flowing. Slight wave permissible.
Short and fine on head and forelegs. On all other parts of moderate length and flat.
The coat is short, stiff, shiny, adherent and dense with a light undercoat that becomes thicker in cold weather.
