Preferred color is a dark blue, thickly mottled body, spotted by various shaped black spots on back, ears and sides
Acceptable colors are black, lighter and darker shades of gray, lighter and darker shades of fawn, and red
White should predominate; brindle, red or liver markings are objectionable
